We were honoured to be invited by the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) to share our progress at the IBO.2 session of the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition. This opportunity placed us alongside other innovative projects such as PERFECOAT, THERMOFIRE, and the ELLIPSE Project.
Today, the FURIOUS project was presented at the FUR4Sustain meeting in Nice "Forging the Future".
As the project started, the FURIOUS consortium gathered for the first time in Terni, Italy, on the 12 and 13 June 2023, hosted by the University of Perugia.
In an era when environmental concerns have reached a crescendo, the search for eco-friendly alternatives to traditional plastics has intensified. We need to look for promising alternatives to fossil-based plastics while preserving the characteristics that conventional plastics have: lightweight, durability, affordable prices, among other characteristics.
The FURIOUS project will help in finding the way towards new bio-based polymers that can be the constituent of revolutionary bio-based plastics.
