Webinar 1: From Lab to Road: Biobased Polymers and Composites for Automotive Applications

WEBINAR 1

From Lab to Road: Biobased Polymers and Composites for Automotive Applications

This first session of the From Lab to Road webinar series is hosted by the FURIOUS project and features contributions from the THERMOFIRE and POLYMEER projects. The webinar focuses on current research efforts related to biobased polymers and composites with relevance for automotive applications.

THERMOFIRE addresses the development of polymer-based materials with enhanced fire safety and sustainability, targeting performance requirements that are critical in demanding sectors such as automotive. In parallel, POLYMEER explores advanced biobased polymer materials, with particular attention to material formulation, processing strategies and resulting properties.

By bringing together these three EU-funded projects, the session offers an opportunity to exchange views on research approaches, technical challenges and potential complementarities, providing a snapshot of ongoing work in this area.
